Funeral services for Rev. Danny Eugene Johnson, age 63, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011 at Believers Worship Center with Rev. D.L. Harvey and Rev. Scotty Ricks officiating. Interment will follow in Crossroads Cemetery, Crossett, AR under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Believers Worship Center.
Rev. Johnson, a resident of Bastrop and Minister at Pentecostal Church of God Believers Worship Center, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at his residence. Rev. Johnson was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Rev. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Larry and Elaine Johnson; brother, Roger Johnson; and son, "Rick Rick" Johnson.
Rev. Johnson is survived by his wife, Helen Johnson; one daughter, Lori Guerrero and husband Ed of Hot Springs, AR; four sons, Tim Johnson and wife Donna of Crossett, AR, David Johnson and wife Tammy of Sacramento, CA, Michael Haen and wife Jennifer of Hamburg, AR, William Haen and wife Lori of Crossett, AR; two sisters, Judy Crouch of Hamburg, AR, Dianne Riordan of Crossett, AR; one brother, Wayne Johnson of Crossett, AR; twenty grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Chris Croswell, Roy Marquez, Caleb Riordan, Lee Riordan, James Lebrun, Phillip Tanksley, James Tanksley and Dustin Tanksley.
