Obituary of Mildred M. Jordan

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred M. Jordan, 85, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip McCready and Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Mrs. Jordan, a homemaker and member of Central Missionary Baptist Church, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at Lagniappe. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Boyd and her husband Henry, Cheryl Bush and her husband Edwin, Sandra Baxter and her husband Charles; son Clifford Jordan and his wife Lois; sister Jean Gilley; grandchildren, Billy Jordan, Tommy Jordan, Curtis Jordan, Shannon Boyd, Dustin Jordan, and Kim Ard; great grandchildren, Amber Jordan , Jessica Jordan, Rachel Jordan, Jack Jordan, Emma Jordan, Elana Jordan, Parker Jordan, and Garrett Ard. She is preceded in death by her husband L.C. Jordan, her daughter Helen Nix, and her son Larry Jordan. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Jordan, Tommy Jordan, Curtis Jordan, Dustin Jordan, Charles Baxter, and James Adams. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
