Obituary of David Randolph "Randy" Ritzell

Funeral services for David Randolph “Randy” Ritzell, age 70, are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, June 9, 2023 at Golden Funeral Home withe Rev. Scott Ricks officiating. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9 AM until 10 AM at Golden’s. Interment will follow in LA ARK Cemetery. David Randolph “Randy” Ritzell was born January 6, 1953 and passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Mr. Ritzell served his country in the United States Marine Corps During Vietnam. After returning home, he settled in the country as a farmer. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Diane Ritzell, son, David R. Ritzell II and wife Wendy, daughter, Angela Ritzell, son, Joshua Ritzell; ten grandchildren, Keira, Zach, Holly, Angel, King, Alaina, Harley, Jaycea, Jocelyn and Abilene; brother, Bob Ritzell and wife Sharon and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Ritzell is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lois Ritzell; brothers, Steve Ritzell, Louie Ritzell, Dennis Ritzell and Kerry Wayne Ritzell. Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Ritzell, CJ Little, Eddie Helling, Josh Ritzell, David Ritzell and Derrick Miles. The family requests any memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
