Obituary of Lucille Hughes Puckett

A graveside service for Mrs. Lucille Hughes Puckett, age 94, will be held Sunday, August 28, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Carter Cemetery with Rev. Henry Stone officiating. A visitation will be held at Reily Memorial United Methodist Church after the service.
Mrs. Puckett, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Bastrop. Mrs. Puckett was a retired teacher of Collinston Elementary School for 38 years and a member of Reily Memorial United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Puckett is survived by a sister-in-law, Florie Hughes of Birmingham, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Puckett is preceded in death by her husband, "Bunny" Puckett; sister, Lee Bamburg; and a brother, Ira Wilmer Hughes.
Memorial contributions may be made to Reily Memorial United Methodist Church in Collinston.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Arbor and Terrace of Bastrop and Premier Hospice.
