Obituary of Mary Pritchett

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ella Pritchett, age 88, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Ingram and Rev. David Sistrunk officiating. Interment will follow in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Pritchett, a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011. She was a Nurses Aide at the Garnier Clinic for several years and worked at Lucy Hudson. Mrs. Pritchett enjoyed keeping the children and was a devoted nursery worker at First Baptist Church. She was an avid bowler who bowled on several leagues and also traveled to the state tournament. Mrs. Pritchett especially enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and family. She is survived by her three daughters, Joyce Neely and husband Darrell of Jackson, TN, Dianne Loubiere and husband Donnie of Mineral Wells, WV, Kay Buckley of Oologah, OK; son, Woodie Pritchett and wife Becky of Simsboro, LA; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Pritchett is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Pritchett; daughter, Alice Faye Bennett, her parents, six brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to: First Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA.
