Obituary of Homer Brown Pevehouse

Funeral services for Mr. Homer Brown Pevehouse, age 97, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Garlington officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop, LA. Visitation will be held Friday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Pevehouse, a resident of Goodwill, LA, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was a farmer and member of Clearlake Baptist Church in Goodwill. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Pevehouse; son, John Pevehouse; and brother, Burton Pevehouse. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Carol Pevehouse of Monroe, LA; sister-in-law, Ila Maude Pevehouse of Malvern, AR; three grandchildren, Brad Pevehouse and wife Leigh of Monroe, LA, Keith Pevehouse of Cabot, AR, Laura Thomas and husband Mark of Austin, TX; and seven great grandchildren, Brittney Pevehouse, Alex Pevehouse, Ryan Pevehouse, Jake Pevehouse, Josh Pevehouse, Jonah Pevehouse, and Anna Thomas.
