Obituary of Shannon Marsh Johnston

Funeral services for Shannon Marsh Johnston, age 36, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Cascio officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Shannon, a resident of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Bastrop, LA, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jimmie L. Coleman, and father, Cleo Marsh. Shannon is survived by her two sons, Tyler Johnston of Bonita, LA, Seth Stephens of Bonita, LA; siblings, Sheila Dykes of Bastrop, LA, Sherry Ramshur and husband Ronnie of Bastrop, LA, Sarah Stewart of Bastrop, LA, Susan Sharman of Bastrop, LA, Gary Williamson and wife Janice of Hamburg, AR; step-father, Wayne Coleman of Bastrop, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be David Farrar, Michael Thomas, Ronnie Ramshur, Jr., Matthew VanGilder, Mathey Dykes, and Damon Wade.
