Obituary of Nelline Eldridge

Funeral services for Nelline C. Eldridge, age 78, of Monroe, formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Mickey Bounds, Donald Reeves and William Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Eldridge, a homemaker and member of Oak Hill Baptist Church passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
She is survived by her daughters; Janice Coleman of Bastrop, LA, Mary Sue Chapman and husband Paul of Rocky Branch, LA and Sheryl Tucker and husband Kenny of Marion, LA; sister, Charlotte Haynes of Wilmot, AR; brother, Charles Chambers of Monroe, LA; ten grandchildren, Jeff Coleman and wife Teresa, Mark Coleman and wife Wendy, Scott Coleman, Chris Coleman and wife Christine, Melanie Chapman, Monica Newcomb and husband Gary, Michelle Thomas and husband Josh, Bryan Tucker and wife Jodi, Brad Tucker and wife Emily and Shelly Tucker; nine great grandchildren, Melissa, Hannah, Grant and Alexis Coleman, Bradley Newcomb, Abigail and Riley Tucker, David and Justus Tucker.
Mrs. Eldridge is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Torris (Sonny) F. Eldridge.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation is scheduled to be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
