Obituary of Lloyd D. "Pat" Patty

Mr. Lloyd D. "Pat" Patty, age 71 and resident of Bee Bayou, LA, passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 19, 2010. Mr. Patty was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and a retired employee of NASA. He served twenty years with the U.S. Air Force which included two tours in Vietnam. He retired from NASA after 29 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and an USO volunteer at Hobby International Airport in Houston, TX. Mr. Patty was a 32nd degree Mason and also a member of the Order of the Scottish Rite. Mr. Patty was preceded in death by his first wife, Julie M. Patty; son, Lloyd V. Patty; and parents, Floyd and Elsie Patty. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Patty; daughter, Terri Kulik of Alvin, TX; two sons, Kevin Patty and wife Norma Ferguson of Manvel, TX, Albert Patty and wife Karen of Cameron, TX; step-daughter, Tammy Pritchard of Bee Bayou, LA; two step-sons, Jody Sebren of Bee Bayou, LA, Tharon Sebren and wife Karen of Start, LA; sister, Lillian Linney of Texas; two brothers, Alan Patty of Lake Jackson, TX, James Patty of Camden, TN; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Houston, TX, at a later date.
