Obituary of Margie Ann Anders

Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Ann McCormick Anders, 66, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Anders, an office manager and member of Liberty Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Anders; four sons, David Anders and wife Marcie of Lake Charles, LA, Terry Anders and wife Pamela of Houston, TX, Bruce Anders and wife Dara of Bastrop, LA, Charles Anders and wife Jeanne of Bastrop; a brother, Don McCormick and wife Sue of Shirley, AR; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Anders is preceded in death by her parents and her only sister, Melba Gibson Copes.
