Funeral services for Mr. James Gordon Watts, Jr., 77, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Petrus officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Watts, a retired teacher in Houston, TX and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Bastrop Rehabilitation Hospital.
He is survived by a daughter, Rose Marie Sloan and husband Gary of Arnualdville, LA; two sons, Joal Watts and wife Sharon Wagner of Bealeton, VA, James Watts and wife Chandi of Bastrop, LA; two brothers, Troy Watts of Bastrop, LA, Bill Watts of Houma, LA; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. Watts is preceded in death by his parents, James Gordon Watts and Dovie Watts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a church of your choice.
