Obituary of Hattie Jane Parks

Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Jane Parks, age 92, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. William Fowler officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Blytheville, AR. Mrs. Parks, a homemaker and member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of the Collinston Garden Club and the Town and Country Homemakers Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam C. Parks; daughter, Dorotha Louise Fuslier; son, Howard Jay Parks; parents, George W. and Maudie Widner. Mrs. Parks is survived by three daughters, Virginia Aldridge of Dover, AR, Cynthia Parks of Sterlington, LA, Demetra Lossett of Gladewater, TX; two sons, Jimmie Errol Berner of El Dorado, AR, Gary Parks of Dry Prong, LA; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and sixteen great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, July 29, 2013 from 5 PM - 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
