Funeral service for Mr. Mack Boyce Brasher, age 79, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Ballard officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Brasher, a retired M.T.S. Trainer for Power Plant at International Paper Company, a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and a member of the Masons, passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 at Glenwood Hospital. He also served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife Bobbie Jean Brasher; daughter, Deborah Barmore Callaway and her husband Ted of West Monroe, LA; son, Charles Brasher of Bastrop, LA; five grandchildren, Brandon Barmore, Peyton Barmore, Adam Barmore all of West Monroe, LA, Stacy Lynn Brasher Cotten and David Charles Brasher both of Bastrop; three great grandchildren, Cade Barmore of West Monroe, Blake Cotten and Hailey Cotten both of Pioneer, LA. Mr. Brasher is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters. Pallbearers will be Mikie Barmore, Kenneth Leggett, Adam Barmore, Peyton Barmore, Brandon Barmore and David Brasher. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Brasher's Sunday School class. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1, 2005 from 5:30 until 8:30 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
