Funeral services for Thelma Hogan Franklin, 87, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Beard officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.
Mrs. Franklin a housewife and homemaker passed away Friday, November 4, 2005 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Franklin is survived by three daughters, Janell Hart of Monroe, LA, Peggy Tyson of Bastrop, LA, Jerri Clark of Bastrop, LA; one sister, Mary Stephens of Bastrop, LA; nine grandchildren, Randy Hart, Donald Hart, Elizabeth Stokes, Phillip Hart, Jim Tyson, Robert Tyson, Lavinda Tyson Smith, Bobby Joe Tyson, Toni Karen Nall; a host great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Tony Franklin.
Serving as pallbearers are grandsons: Randy Hart, Donald Hart, Phillip Hart, Jim Tyson, Robert Tyson and Bobby Joe Tyson.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
