Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Luton Lucas, 95, of Pineville, LA, formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.
Mrs. Lucas, a homemaker and member of the Methodist faith passed away, Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the Lexington House in Alexandria, LA.
She is survived by two daughters, Lillie Maude Simmons and husband Daryl of Pineville, LA, Beverly Ann Nielsen and husband Frank of Collinston, LA; two sons, John Sidney Lucas, Jr. and wife Patti of Calhoun, LA, Buster Lucas and wife Patsy of Monroe, LA; three sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Kirby of West Monroe, LA, Martha Frances Fontenot of Monroe, LA, Josephine Johnston of Houston, TX; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mrs. Lucas is preceded in death by her husband, John Sidney Lucas, Sr. and a daughter, Sarah Jane Boucherie.
Serving as pallbearers are: Billy Brown, Jason Brown, Ronnie White, Bobby White, John Bearden and James Bearden.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
