Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Eckles Womack, age 75, of Monroe, LA are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Mer Rouge Cemetery with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Womack, a homemaker and member of North Monroe Baptist Church, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center.
She is survived by her son, Billy Womack; two grandchildren, Chad Womack and wife Ashley, Dana Gavin and husband Roy; three great grandchildren, Makenzie, Kailyn, Landri; nephews, Eddie Eckles, Jim Eckles and a special friend, A.D. Foreman III.
Mrs. Womack is preceded in death by her father, George Edward Eckles, Sr.; mother, Gursta Harris Eckles; brother, George Eckles, Jr.; sister in law, Shirley Eckles; father of her children, William Womack; son, Joseph Edward Womack and a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Womack.
Serving as pallbearers are: Eddie Eckles, Jim Eckles, Payton Hollis, John Johnson, Roy Gavin and Benjie Carter.
