Obituary of Glinda "Joyce" Carlock

Funeral services for Mrs. Glinda "Joyce" Carlock, age 64, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Church. Mrs. Carlock was a waitress and attended Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. She passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Morehouse General Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Carlock, Sr.; daughters, Rhonda Scott of Lansing, MI, Joyce Ann Blanchard of New Iberia, LA; son, Thomas Carlock, Jr. of Montgomery City, MO; sister, Rita Carroll and husband Roy of Bastrop, LA; brother, Everett Holland and wife Ann of Baton Rouge, LA and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Carlock is preceded in death by her father, William Holland; mother, Josephine Holland and a brother, Charles Holland. Serving as pallbearers are: Billy Carlock, Jamie Holland, Ronald Holland, Malcolm Bonin, Charles Cherry, and Elmer Ivester, Jr.
