Obituary of Willie Mae Dove

Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae Dove, age 80, are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth E. Ronaghan officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery, Collinston, LA. Visitation is scheduled for 5 PM until 8 PM Friday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Dove, retired employee of International Paper Company, loved to fish and loved garden work. She was a very loving person who would help anyone and she always put her family first. She is survived by her husband, J. C. Dove, Sr.; daughter, Jamela Zimmerman of Bastrop, LA; son, Jay Dove, Jr. and wife Debbie of Bastrop, LA' sister, Betty Hall of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Lisa Hench, Kevin Tatum, Jr., Sarah Dove, Shelly Dove, and Victoria Zimmerman. Mrs. Dove is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Sarah Hall. Serving as pallbearers will be Calvin Lusby, Clint Downs, Chad Smith, Leamon Morgan, Bonnie Prince, and Scott Hench. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Mayhall, Jimmy Luzader, and Larry Robinson.
