Obituary of William Buford Puckett

Graveside funeral services for Mr. William Buford "Bunny" Puckett, age 93, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday November 11, 2005 at Carter Cemetery with Rev. R.B. Moore officiating. Mr. Puckett, a lifelong resident of Morehouse Parish, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital. Visitation will be held Friday from 1-2 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Puckett is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lucille H. Puckett of Collinston; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Buddy McDuffie and Albert Mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. William B. Puckett, Sr.; two brothers, Windsor D. Puckett and Parham R. Puckett; and two sisters, Mary Lou Caldwell and Clara Belle Pratt.
Mr. Puckett was a member of Reily Memorial United Methodist Church in Collinston and also a member of the Mer Rouge Masonic Lodge.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of The Arbor House, Rev. R.B. Moore, Dr. Robert Lyon, and the staff of Morehouse General Intensive Care Unit for their care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reily Memorial United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
