Funeral services for Mr. Jack Stanley, age 88, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Revs. Doug Edwards and Kevin McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Stanley, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a member of Tillou Baptist Church and the Mt. Gerizim Lodge #54 FAM.
Mr. Stanley is preceded in death by his wife, Erline Stanley.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Doles and husband Kirk; son, Kary Stanley and wife Rita; grandchildren, Josh Doles and wife Adrienne, Brian Doles and wife Angela, Michelle Rainey and husband Courtney, Tad Stanley; and great grandchildren, Allie Hines, Ainsley Doles, Alaina Doles, and Bryson Rainey.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Doles, Brian Doles, Tad Stanley, Mike Hinton, Steve Middlebrooks, and Joe Kinney. Courtney Rainey will be an honorary pallbearer.
