Graveside services for Mr. Fook Chong Pang, age 89, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Chinese Cemetery in Greenville, MS, with Rev. Bruce M. Rux and Dr. Dwight Munn officiating, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 3:30 PM until 5 PM Saturday, September 28 at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Pang, a retired, and very hard working self-proprietary businessman operated a retail grocery business in Greenville, MS. He passed away Thursday, September 26 in Monroe, LA. He was a very giving man and he always thought of others first.
He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Priest and husband Barry of Bastrop, LA; sons, Danny Pang of Starkville, MS, Randy Pang of Bastrop, LA, and his fiance' Lisa Gratigny of Macon, GA; two step-grandchildren, Brandon Priest and Carrie Meers.
Mr. Pang is preceded in death by his wife, Suey Fong Pang; mother, Lee Shee Pang; and father, Young Pang.
Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Green, Doug Brewster, Mitch Jordan, Jeff Meers, Charles Watson, and Richard Gardner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Halterman, Carl Brodnax, Jim Wilson, Ock Wong, Tom Allen, Keith Peveto, staff of Oak Woods Home for the Elderly, St. Francis Specialty Hospital, and Dr. Shafiei.
In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Graceminster Presbyterian Church of Monroe, LA, or the Alzheimer's Association.
