Graveside services for George Lee White, 70, of Mer Rouge, LA, will be 1 PM Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Parks Cemetery in Sterlington, LA, with Rev. Louis Couch officiating.
Mr. White, a long time resident of Morehouse Parish, died Monday, November 8, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George & Cellas White; and two sisters, Jennie Stevenson and Helen Lucille White.
Mr. White is survived by a wife, Joyce Ramsey White; step-daughter, Kim Anita Bailey & husband Dewayne of De Ridder, LA; step-daughter, Karen Ham Jones & husband Joey of Citrus Heights, CA; step-son, Kenneth D. Ham & wife Ellena of Mer Rouge, LA; brother, Allen Raymond White & wife Mary of Mer Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Jeri Elaine Valenti & husband Jonathon of Citrus Heights, CA, Davis Bailey & wife Amanda of DeQuincey, LA, Theodore Bailey & wife Rachel of DeRidder, LA; 2 step-grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Joan B. Knox of Mer Rouge, LA; 11 nieces & nephews; and Doc Jones & several other cousins.
Pallbearers will be: Allen White, Jr., Darrell White, and Jonathon Vernon.
Visitation will be from 9 AM - 12 Pm Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
