Funeral services for Mr. Billy G. Jackson, age 67, of West Monroe, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday July 19, 2004, at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette offciating. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 8:30p.m. Sunday at Goldens. Mr. Jackson died July 12, 2004 at North Monroe Hospital. Mr. Jackson was the owner of Carroll Steel Erectors. He was well respected in the steel business, in which he had many friends.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Carol Jackson; daughter, Lisa Crymes of West Monroe; sons, James Carl Jackson of Monroe, Terry Stephens & wife Debra of Bastrop; sisters, Dorothy McKean of Roshason, TX, Julie Ostteen of Bastrop, Georgia Manno of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Charles Jackson of Sherwood, AR, William Jackson of West Monroe.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James T. & Willie Sue Jackson, and sister, Bobbie Ruth Schwarts.
Pallbearers will be Mike Ostteen, Wayne Gilbreath, Joseph Thomas, Daniel Schwarts, Johnny Shrum, Willis Whorton, Robert Walker, and Jimmy McKoin. Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Bamburg, Mike Barnes and Ronnie Barnes.
