Graveside services for Mr. Eldridge J. Jones, age 98, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013, in Memorial Park Cemetery with Tony Campanale officiating.
Mr. Jones, a resident of Bastrop, LA and retired from International Paper Company, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013. Mr. Jones was of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Mary Huff Jones; parents, James Franklin Jones and Fanny Elizabeth Jones; and a brother, Elson E. Jones.
Mr. Jones is survived by one daughter, Mary Kathryn Cockrell of Bastrop, LA; two sons, James T. Jones and wife P.J. of Bastrop, LA, Johnny M. Jones and wife Betty of Bastrop, LA; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 noon Monday at Golden Funeral Home.
