Obituary of Gary Farrar

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Gary "Rip" Farrar, 44, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008 in Tillou Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at Goldens. Mr. Farrar passed away Monday, June 2, 2008 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Farrar of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Lesley Lingefelt of Oak Grove, LA; son, Gary "Brother" Farrar II of Bastrop, LA; three stepsons, Seneca Yates, Alex Stokes and Seth "Little Red" Yates all of Bastrop, LA; three sisters, Elaine Crenshaw of West Monroe, LA, Gloria "Donnie" McDowell of Hamburg, AR, Carol Silmon of Bastrop, LA; four brothers, James Farrar of Shreveport, LA, Glen Farrar, Ricky Farrar and David Farrar all of Bastrop, LA; granddaughter, Elizabeth Seamens of Bastrop, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Farrar is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Ruth Farrar; sister, Sue Jackson and brother, John Farrar.
