Obituary of Sherman C. Poole

Funeral services for Mr. Sherman C. Poole, age 82, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Causey Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
Mr. Poole, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Mr. Poole is survived by his wife, Nell Poole; daughter, Cindy Moody of Aspen, CO; step-children, Tony Morrison, Britt Morrison, Kim Morrison, Tina Morrison, Ernie Tannehill, Bobbie Sue Harris; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hamp and Pauline Poole; a sister, niece, and a nephew.
Pallbearers will be John Davis, Rodney Dew, Chris Fulmer, Johnny Stringer, Charlie Coody, and Gerald Wallace.
