Obituary of Ada Gregory Osborn

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ada Gregory Osborn, 86, of Monroe, formerly of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Waymon Swain officiating. Vistation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Osborn, a retired Morehouse Parish school employee, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Central Church of Christ and the Cotton Country Quilter's Club. Mrs. Osborn is survived by her daughter, Alvie Jane Osborn of Monroe, LA; son, Frank Osborn,Jr. of Anchorage, AK; two sisters, Ellen Gregory of Bastrop, LA, Mary Matheny of Bastrop, LA; three brothers, Guy Gregory, Jr. of Bastrop, LA, T.R. Gregory of Dallas, TX, Sam Gregory of Farmerville, LA; sister in law, Opal Gregory of Bastrop, LA; four grandchildren, Marc Osborn of Anchorage, AK, Brennan Osborn of Anchorage, AK, Angela Osborn of California and Frank Osborn III of New Orleans, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Osborn; parents, Sam and Carrie Gregory; sisters, Vera Wilson, Dora Matheny, Dorothy Stokes and brothers, Bill Gregory, Johnny Gregory, Jimmy Gregory and Roy Gregory.
