Obituary of Kenneth Ray Phillips

Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Phillips, age 57, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Mr. David Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Phillips passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in Monroe, LA. He was an area manager at International Paper Company, who spent all of his time hunting and fishing with his family and also an avid LSU fan. He is survived by his wife, Ida Faye Phillips of Bastrop, LA; two sons, Fred William Phillips and wife Jerri of Monroe, LA, Andrew David Phillips and wife Laura of Bastrop, LA; one sister, Tammie Jean Phillips of Bastrop, LA; one brother, Glen Edward Phillips of Mer Rouge, LA; three grandchildren, Garrett Alexander Phillips, Mallory Ann Phillips, Austin Gabriel Phillips; and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyonil McKee, Roger DeFee, Jessie Van, Mark Graves, Bruce Woodson and Rev. Auburn Robinson.
