Obituary of Robert Porter

Graveside funeral services for Robert "Bob" G. Porter , 52, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, July 19,2004 at the Red Wing cemetery in West Carroll Parish with the Bro. Paul Penton officiating. Mr. Porter, a auto body repairman, died Friday, July 16, 2004 at Medical Central Hospital in Mansfield,Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Laura Vidrine Porter; two daughters, LeCarol Porter of Lafayette, LA, Jennifer Porter and fiance Justin Goleman of Bastrop,LA; two sons, Heath Porter and wife Amy of Bastrop,LA, John Phillip Porter and wife Sharree of Bastrop,LA; brother, Harold Andrew Porter and wife Sharalou of Bastrop,LA; five grandchildren, Jareth, Dylan, Isaac, Christopher, and Jacob; aunt, Helen Blackburn; several nieces and nephews and a special friend and mother of his children, Duania Porter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold A. Porter,Sr. and Joan Carol Porter; father in law, D.W. Holley; uncle, Bill Blackburn and grandmother, Mary Rigel. Pallbearers will be Shannon Bayless, Greg George, Rob Hayden, James Hayden, Jeremy Rhodes and David Lewis. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Holley. Visitation is scheduled for 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at Golden Funeral Home.
