Graveside funeral services for Mr. Debbs Nelson, age 81, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Yocum officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Nelson, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013. He was a retired employee of International Paper Company and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mr. Nelson was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Nelson; his parents and siblings.
Mr. Nelson is survived by his daughter, Cyndi Paulk of Monroe, LA; granddaughter, Brittany Paulk of Monroe, LA; great grandson, Beau McClelland of Monroe, LA; brother-in-law, Charlie Pepper and wife Shelia of Bastrop, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
