Obituary of George Morgan

Funeral services for Mr. George Morgan, age 58, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Lonadier. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Morgan, a construction employee, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. He was a resident of Bastrop and enjoyed hunting at Sadie Hunting Club and racing cars at Twin City Motorsports.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Louise McKoin and J.D. McKoin.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his son, Josh Morgan of Swartz, LA, and brother, Darrell McKoin and wife Clara of Oak Ridge, LA.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ted Grimes, Charles Woods, Derek Fontenot, Jason Mayo, Vernon Pippin, and Tab Gentry.
