Obituary of Gloria Cleo Almond Harper

Funeral services for Gloria Cleo Almond Harper, age 82, of Mer Rouge, LA are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, June, 15, 2008 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmie Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Harper, a homemaker, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 at her residence in Mer Rouge, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Harper, Jr. and a sister, Maxine Hales. Mrs. Harper is survived by two daughters, Debbie Harper of Mer Rouge, LA, Tamie Fehrenbach of Bastrop, LA; one sister, Mearle Trichell of Oak Grove, LA; one brother, Robert Edward Almond and wife Shirley of Tuscaloosa, AL; two grandchildren, T.J. Cooper of Bastrop, LA, Tamatha Gongre and husband Dustin of Natchitoches, LA; and two great grandchildren, Jaislyn Sanders and Devin Gongre. Serving as pallbearers will be: Thomas Ashcraft, Tommy Roberson, T.J. Cooper, T.G. Kimball, and Ronnie Savage.
