Funeral services for Mr. Orvil E. Noble, age 86, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Carter and Rev. Rubin Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Sims Cemetery, Crossett, AR. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM Saturday at Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Noble was a retired employee of International Paper Company and member of Faith Baptist Church. He loved people and squirrel and deer hunting. He is survived by his wife, Mable Noble; daughter, Carolyn Noble Morrison and husband Bud of Bastrop, LA; son, Kennon Noble and wife Sandra of Deer, AR; step-children, Doris Norris and husband Woody of Calhoun, LA, Joyce Spangler and husband Vance of Calhoun, LA, Delton Harris and wife Cynthia of Forest, MS; sister, June Hollis of Hamburg, AR; grandchildren, Jana Morrison Wilmore and husband Thomas of Bastrop, LA, Tracy Morrison of Robertsdale, AL, Reagan Morrison and wife Staci of Bastrop, LA, David Noble of Shreveport, LA; great grandchildren, Bailey Willis, Allison Wilmore, Emary Morrison, Cameron Ewing, Elijah Harper Noble; special cat, Snowflake. Mr. Noble is preceded in death by his father, McKinnon Noble; mother Sallie G. Noble; first wife, Mary Helen Noble, and thirteen brothers and sisters. Serving as pallbearers will be John McKenzie, Roy Graham, Doug Goyne, Joe Reynolds, Clark Bowen, Roy D. Hodges, Gerald Lester, and Dr. Carter Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee McKenzie, L.M. McIntyre, Dick Revels, Joe Petrus, Mike Tubbs, and Danny McGrew.
