Obituary of Deborah Lynn Savage Hightower

Memorial services for Mrs. Deborah Lynn Savage Hightower, age 60 of Collinston, LA, are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Henry Stone officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 2 PM service time. Mrs. Hightower served as secretary at First United Methodist Church in Bastrop and Reily Memorial United Methodist Church in Collinston for over 20 years. She was a beautician and loved spending time with her family, working in her yard, crocheting, and painting. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hightower; two daughters, Rebecca Naff of Bastrop, LA, Elizabeth Veuleman of Bastrop; sisters, Patricia Ann Handy of Collinston, LA, Carolyn Pipes and husband David of Collinston, LA, Norma "Cissy" Jeter of Peoria, IL; brother, William "Buddy" Savage and wife Donna of Collinston, LA; brothers-in-law, Don Hightower, Mark Hightower and wife Jannice; grandchildren, Colton Naff, Gage Naff, Kaitlyn Davis, Mathew Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Hightower is preceded in death by her parents, Jerd Ernest Savage and Mattie Louise Harper Savage; sister-in-law, Joyce Savage; brother-in-law, Bev Handy; nieces, Sandy Savage Lovin and Laura Savage Botts.
