Obituary of Betty Sue Bryan

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Sue Bryan, age 86, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Tillou Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Edwards and Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Tillou Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday at Tillou Baptist Church. Mrs. Bryan, a homemaker and resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was a member of Tillou Baptist Church. Mrs. Bryan is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Bryan; parents, Herbert Allen Sisson and Lilah Mae Sisson; brothers, Roy Owen (Bubba) Sisson, Herbert Allen (Bo) Sisson, Jr.; sister, Mary Helen Taylor; and grandson, Michael Harrison. She is survived by her children, Allen Bryan and wife Lori, Jerry Bryan and wife Melinda, Gail Harrison, Kay Kelly and husband Dennis, Phyllis Bryan and husband James Hayden, Rita Maxwell and husband Jeff Sr.; brother, D.W. Sisson and wife Nita; sisters, Francis Ruth Faulkenberry, Janie Mae Lowery, Patsy Warren, Alice Buffington; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She had a special place in her heart for Louise Coody, Doris Brown, the Senior Adult class of Tillou Baptist Church, and her favorite R.N. Lynn Wilson. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Will Kelly, Jeff Maxwell, Jr., Dusty Shockey, Jake Maxwell, Josh Maxwell, Troy Bryan, Keith Shockey, and Holden Harrison.
