Obituary of Billy Derrell May

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Derrell May, age 70, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery. Mr. May, a retired meat cutter and member of Harmony Baptist Church, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014. He loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, loved fishing, camping, telling stories and he also loved his deer processing business. He is survived by his daughters, Penny Diane Havens, Lorie Ann Cole, Alicia Leighann May, all of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Jeremy May, Justin Havens, Brittney Cole, Joshua Cole, Adam Deshazo, Alayna Gregory; great grandchildren, Haleigh May, Madelynn May, Avilynn Havens and Aiden Deshazo. Mr. May is preceded in death by his parents, Calton May, Jewel May; son, Billy Jeffery May; brother, Bobby May and granddaughter, Jessica Havens. Pallbearers will be; Jeremy May, Justin Havens, Adam Deshazo, Joshua Cole Tommy Herring and B.J. Sims Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home.
