Funeral arrangements for Wanda Louise Carpenter are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Carpenter, age 57 and a resident of Monroe, LA, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, B.A. and Louise Carpenter.
She is survived by her daughter, Angel Whittington and husband Lanie; two sisters, Linda Borden and husband Brice, Betty Haile; five grandchildren, Bryant Whittington, Julia Whittington, Allison Willard, Nicholas Whittington, Madison Whittington; nieces, Nikki Haile, Bridget Gober, Sommer Bynum; and dear friends, Della and Geoffrey Russell.
