Terri passed from this world Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 8:59 p.m. She was born in Monroe, LA. She went to high school in Tioga and played basketball on a scholarship at Northwestern University in Natchitoches, LA. Terri was a representative of the Rapides Teachers Union, the Baton Rouge Teachers Union and the Corpus Christi Teachers Union. Having been transferred to Corpus Christi, she made that her home, and was a sales representative for several oil companies. Due to illness her family moved her to Bastrop. Terri was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church in Bastrop. She leaves to cherish her memory her only son, Kyle Antee and wife Kelli; grandchildren, Kaelyn and Kenny Antee; mother, Fran Daniel Mahoney Kemper and step-father Royal Kemper; sister, Patricia Mahoney Frieri and husband Mike; two brothers, James Michael Mahoney and wife Retta, Steven Daniel Mahoney and wife Daphne; step-sister, Nancy Kemper Cotner and husband Donnie; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Leon Mahoney; grandparents, Addie High and James Ivan Daniel; and Ruby and James Mahoney. Her family will have a private celebration of life at the home of her aunt and uncle in Swartz, LA, at a later date. There will also be a memorial service in Corpus Christi, TX, where her son lives. The family would like to express their gratitude to the employees of Lagniappe Healthcare and Premier Hospice, especially DeAnn, Mary Ellen, Betsy, and Bro. Andy. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hopsital.
