Obituary of Arnold J. Creech

Graveside services for Arnold J. Creech of Collinston, age 82, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Carter Cemetery with Rev. Mark Benge officiating, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Creech, a retired store owner, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at his residence. He was a member of Reily Memorial Methodist Church, and he served in the Army Air Force during WW II. His hobbies were playing the fiddle and listening to music. He is preceded in death by one son, Mike Creech. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Helen Creech; one daughter, Dawn Goodwin and husband Kevin of Bastrop, LA; one son, Johnny Creech and wife Deborah of Hebert, LA; one daughter in law, Nancy Creech of Alexandria, LA; one sister Margie Hesterly of Camden, AR; and three grandchildren, Josh Goodwin, Tara Creech and Meredith Creech. Memorials may be made to the donors choice. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
