Obituary of Ina V. McCartney

Funeral services for Mrs. Ina V. McCartney, 86, of Bastrop, LA, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2005 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jo Ann Sims officiating. Interment will follow at the New Forest Cemetery in West Carroll Parish. Mrs. McCartney, a retired Morehouse Parish School System employee and member of Bartholomew United Methodist Church, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at her residence. She is survived by two daughters, Sue Klingler of Bastrop, LA, Ann Bortz and husband Gary of Little Rock, AR; two sons, Donald McCartney wife Debbie of Sodus, MI, J.W. McCartney and wife Sharon of Powder Springs, GA; three sisters, Barbara Babcock of Pioneer, LA, Louise Key of Camden, AR, Mary Smith of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Tom Gill of Moore, TX; three grandchildren, Michele Denise Fouts, Michelle Marie McCartney, Joshua T. McCartney; four great grandchildren, Alan Delon Fouts, Jonathan Ryan Fouts, Taylor Grace Brink and Riley Marie Brink. Mrs. McCartney is preceded in death by her husband H.W. McCartney. Serving as pallbearers are: John Cox, Emery Cox, Charles Cox, Waylan Cox Steve Winnon and Mike Baker. Visitation is scheduled for 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
