Graveside funeral services for Mr. Robert L. Carter are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Rev. Shelton Morgan will officiate the service.
Mr. Carter, age 63, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014. He was a retired taxi cab driver in Baton Rouge. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Darrell and Rose O. Carter.
Mr. Carter is survived by his siblings, Darrell Louis and wife Maryann of Bay Minette, AL, Arthur F. Carter, Sr. and wife Hazel of Collinston, LA, Patricia L. Edmonds and husband Harold of Foley, AL, Catherine Oser and husband Jerry of Collinston, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are Arthur Carter, Jr., John Carter, Sr., Darrell Church, Brayden Kilcrease, John Carter, Jr., Nathaniel Church, Mark Daniel Carter, and Arthur Carter III.
