Graveside funeral services for Mr. Mel Smith, age 69, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Smith, a retired truck driver, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
