Obituary of Dale Hunt

Graveside services for Mr. Dale Hunt, age 63 of Mer Rouge, are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Bonne Idee Cemetery with Rev. David Sistrunk officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 9 AM until 12 noon at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Hunt a retired certified mechanic passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at his residence. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war. He loved fishing, mechanics, building and dogs. Mr. Hunt is survived by his sons, Richard Darrell Hunt of Coahoma, Tx, Bradley Wayne Hunt of Millersville, MD; daughters, Paula Lebrun and husband Steve of Bastrop, LA, Danielle Ramphrey of Monroe, LA, Kasie Gilliam of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Cyndi Hunt of Mer Rouge, LA, Debra Hunt of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Dillon Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Christian Ross, Daniel Buffington, Christopher Ramphrey, Ty Ramphrey and Chelsay Ramphrey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Patsy Hunt; wife, Renee Hunt; brother, Kevin Hunt and a granddaughter, Tori Johnson. Serving as pallbearers are: Kasie Gilliam, Justin Mercer, Matt Roberts and Dillon Johnson.
