Obituary of Lucille Pylant

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Pylant, age 84, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Peters and Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Mrs. Pylant, a homemaker and member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014. She loved her flowers and plants and working in the yard. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Zagar and husband Frank of Bastrop, LA; son, Keith Pylant and wife Jayne of Monroe, LA; four grandchildren, Amy Squyres and husband Tony, Todd Zagar and wife Michelle, Craig Allbritton and wife Amanda, Jessica Pylant; great grandchildren, Jennifer Daniel and husband Clayton, Cole Squyres, Madalyn Allbritton and Camryn Allbritton. Mrs. Pylant is preceded in death by her husband, H.E. Pylant; daughter, Jerrene Allbritton; brothers, Willie Derrick, Roy Derrick and Everett Derrick. Pallbearers will be; Lynn Sanders, Jack McCormack, Sherman Thompson, Jerry Deville, Steve Perry and Warren Walker. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Ryder, Bill Gregory, Lee Derrick and Walter Allbritton. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
