Funeral services for Mildred L. McLeod Rogers, 87, of Bastrop will be held Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeffrey May officiating. Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rogers, a homemaker and member of White Avenue Baptist Church, passed away Monday, December 5, 2005 at her residence.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Harley Rogers, Jr; parents, Herbert McLeod & Etta McLeod Jarvis; brothers, Ferrell McLeod & Floyd McLeod; and by a sister, Loraine Grantham.
She is survived by a sister, Bernice Montgomery of Shreveport, LA; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Earl Montgomery, Jack Montgomery, Clifton Rogers, Charles Rogers, Lance Rogers, Brent Rogers, and Gary Turner.
Visitation will be from 5PM-8PM Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
