Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Griffin Talley, age 76, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Father Ned Head officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Talley, a retired hospital lab technician and member of Christ Episcopal Church, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Morgan Talley.
Mrs. Talley is survived by her brother, Donald Griffin and wife Carolyn of Sterlington, LA; brother-in-law, Tom Talley and wife Glenda of Albuquerque, NM; cousin, George Glover and wife Eloise of El Dorado, AR; five nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; two great great nephews; and her beloved golden retriever, Goldielocks.
