Funeral services for Martha "Mama Sue" Morman, age 69, are sheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday August 7, 2004, at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Spillers and Rev. Bobby Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Morman, a resident of Oak Ridge, died August 4, 2004, at Richardson Medical Center. She was a retired employee of Morehouse General Hospital with 33 years of service. Mrs. Morman was a member of West New Home Baptist Church and a charter member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5-9 p.m. at Goldens.
She is survived by her son, Paul Morman & wife Vickie of Mer Rouge; two daughters, Sarah Morman of Oak Ridge, Donna Jones & husband Duke of Rayville; two sisters, Janeth Durham & husband Max of Maumelle, AR, Elsie Stanley of Rayville; five grandchildren, Amanda Simmons & husband Bubba, Joanna Gill & husband Jason, Samantha Wiggins, Cole Jones, Nic Jones; two great grandchildren, Clayton Paul-Maxwell Tubbs and Amelia Larkin Simmons.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Morman and her parents, Houch & Josie Colson.
Pallbearers will be Gary Culver, Clarence White, Jack Gordon, Keith Gordon, Buddy Winnon, Thomas Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. David Raines, Dr. Robert Lyon, Dr. David Thompson and James Harold Foster.
The love of her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
