Funeral service for Mrs. Mary "Polly" Bandy, age 79, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, December 12, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bandy, a retired cashier at Safeway Grocery Store and longtime member of Central Missionary Baptist Church, passed away Friday, December 9 at Morehouse General Hospital.
She is survived by a daughter, Lynda Croswell and her husband John of Bastrop, LA; a son, Michael D. Bandy of Bastrop, LA; a sister, Doris Smith of Woodworth, LA; a brother, Gerald Woods and his wife Jewel of Woodworth, LA; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bandy is preceded in death by her husband, H.D. Bandy, Jr.; a son, Thomas L. Bandy and her parents.
Visitation will be Monday, December 11, 2005 from 1 PM until 2 PM service time at Golden Funeral Home.
