Graveside services for Ruth Nugent Roberts, age 83, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday August 2, 2008 at Dry Prong Cemetery with Rev. Mike Stowell officiating. Mrs. Roberts, a homemaker, passed away Thursday July 31, 2008 at Willis Knighten Pierremont Health Center in Shreveport.
She was a resident of Shreveport and a member of First Baptist Church in Quitman, MS, where she formerly resided. She was also a member of the Clarke County Homemakers Club and the Red Hat Society at "The Glen" where she recently resided in Shreveport.
She is survived by three children, Gene Roberts & wife LV of Bastrop, Sue Jenkins & husband Ted of Keithville, LA, and Gregory B. Roberts of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cleve E. Roberts.
