Funeral services for Vivian Marie "Biddie" Sandifer, age 81, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2008 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Clegg officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop. Visitation will be held Monday from 1-3 p.m. at Goldens.
Mrs. Sandifer, a resident of Bastrop and a homemaker, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Sandifer.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Kendall & husband Wesley of Bastrop; two brothers, Jessie Drake of Muskogee, OK, Ellis Drake & wife Joan of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandchildren, Wayne Pagan & wife Cindy of Bossier City, LA, Melissa Durrett & husband B Jay of Baton Rouge, LA; step grandson, Chip Kendall; and three great grandchildren, Miranda Pagan, Matthew Pagan, and Noah Durrett.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Pagan, Matthew Pagan, Wesley Kendall, Chip Kendall, B Jay Durrett, and John Slade.
Honorary pallbearers will be Perry Pagan and Troy Hughes.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Cherry Ridge Guest Care and Premier Hospice.
